Booth #25

After working in computer animation for over a decade, I yearned for something tactile & tangible. I started painting in oils in 2012, focusing in on still life painting. Working with inanimate objects I was interested in capturing a hidden life or character in these common everyday items. In 2015, I found myself painting some of my friend’s pets. Pet portrait commissions are very rewarding for me artistically – challenging, yet so much fun. I am also exploring figurative themes in my personal work. I enjoy a loose painterly style, with focus on specific details. And of course, enjoying all the tactile qualities of oil paints.

I have been honored to study with some Great Masters, such as Max Ginsburg, Keita Morimoto, Sara Sniderhan, Timothy Rees and Costa Dvorezky.
