Thank you for having a look at my artistic photographic representation of both the natural and man-made world. I’m hopeful that I can convey through the images, how I see beauty in the world we live in.These photographs arise from my strong connection to the subject matter after carefully studying the scene and the interaction of all elements that construct it.

Like all forms of Art, I believe the most important quality of a photograph is to evoke a strong emotional response. While this sometimes can be achieved being at the right place at the right time, I believe there is more to it than that. Choosing how to photograph the scene is to me far more important. With the advent of digital photography, we have powerful tools at our disposal but they are at the end just tools. How we visualize the final scene takes place in the mind’s eye and understanding how to achieve the desired results are all important steps or details that have to work together to create the final image. My processes involve meticulous attention to detail in my field technique, along with a unique exploratory approach in the digital darkroom.

Unfortunately, most of the craft cannot be directly viewed through low resolution images through a medium such as the screen you are looking at. Photographic papers have wonderful textures that are not seen. Additionally, many of my images have been finished with various techniques or substrates such as resin, metal or acrylic face mounting. For the best experience, please contact me for a viewing or location and timing of exhibits.
