Lori Molnar

Booth 68

As a designer of residential interiors, Lori Molnar has always understood perspective, balance, color and shape, but when she tried to put her vision on paper, she couldn’t. A long-term issue with small motor motion in both hands made drawing and sketching impossible, but to her surprise, paintbrushes and watercolors gave her a brand new outlet for her creative expression.

Today, Beaches-based Lori relies on watercolors to create wonderfully atmospheric impressionistic abstracts that reflect the many moods of the lake she watches change from dawn through dusk. Fittingly, Lori’s watercolor art evokes a range of emotions that shift and move through every unique individual as does the very media that inspired and created them.
